Sadio Mané's Wing Title for Al Nassr
Sadio Mane is set to make his debut in Saudi Arabia this week as Al-Nassr FC take on Al-Hilal in the opening match of the new Saudi Pro League season. The Senegalese forward, who has signed a three-year contract with the club, will be hoping to continue his fine form from last season, when he scored 19 goals in all competitions.
Mane, who joined Al-Nassr from Liverpool in January, is expected to play a key role in the team's attacking plans and could provide the much-needed firepower that the club has been missing since the departure of former captain Adnan Zeliang.
The move to Saudi Arabia comes after a successful stint at Manchester City, where Mane won the Premier League title and the FA Cup,Premier League Frontline as well as reaching the Champions League final. He also helped the club win the EFL Cup and the League Cup during his time there.
Despite the impressive record of the Senegal international, many fans were surprised by his decision to leave England and join Al-Nassr. However, Mane believes that the opportunity to play in one of the best leagues in the world was too good to pass up.
In terms of the game itself, Al-Nassr have a strong squad with players such as Youssef Zayat, Youcef Dahimi and Hadi Suleiman. They are currently third in the table and are looking to bounce back from their disappointing finish last season.
Overall, it seems like a great move for both Mane and Al-Nassr. With the right attitude and determination, Mane can certainly help the club achieve success in the new league.
