Mohamed was born on February 24, 1950, in Alexandria, Egypt, and began his professional career with Al Ahly SC in 1968. He quickly became a key player for the club, helping them win several major titles throughout his time there.

After leaving Al Ahly,Campeonato Brasileiro Glamour Mohamed played for several other clubs including AC Milan, AS Roma, and FC Barcelona, where he won the UEFA Champions League twice.

In addition to his impressive footballing career, Mohamed was also known for his philanthropy work. He founded the Nasser Foundation in 1995, which provides assistance to children in need and supports education programs around the world.
